Networkfleet Overview
GPS all Trek offers Networkfleet, the first truly integrated location and
performance monitoring system for fleet management. Once installed,
Networkfleet collects and organizes detailed automotive information directly
from the vehicle's engine computer and location-based information from a
global positioning system (Figure 1). Maintenance and operation information
are transmitted wirelessly to an information center where it is made
available to fleets and car owners in the form of immediate e-mail alerts,
summary e-mail reports or easy-to-read Web pages.
Hardware
The Networkfleet hardware is a small, plug and play device, which can be
installed under the dash of the vehicle, completely hidden from view. For
further details, please refer to the Networkfleet 3100 Series specification
sheet attached.

Reports Provided
Speed Violation Report – Networkfleet’s Speed Report allows
the fleet manager to monitor speed violations by setting speed
thresholds for certain vehicles. The report allows you to view the
location and time of where a speed policy violation occurred.
Enforcing a speed policy not only promotes driver safety but will
also help to save money on fuel costs.
Closest Vehicle - Networkfleet's Closest Vehicle Report
allows the fleet manager to easily locate the vehicles that are
closest to a street address or landmark. Benefits include being able
to determine how far a vehicle is from a destination and locating
the closest vehicle to a customer location for added revenue.
Odd Hours - With Networkfleet's Odd Hours Report fleet
managers can identify vehicles that are being used during
unauthorized hours – weekends, after work hours, etc. The report
allows fleet managers to enter a Violation Window and the date range
and the report will return any vehicles that have driven along with
the first and last time they operated in that window, their speed
and locations.
Drive Time Summary – With Networkfleet's Fleet Drive Time
Report, fleet managers can easily access daily or weekly statistics
on their fleet like total mileage or maximum speed reached. In
addition, a summary total for each vehicle is displayed allowing for
a quick scan for underutilized vehicles, mileage totals and more.
Stop Detail - With Networkfleet's Stop Detail Report, fleet
managers can easily confirm the day's stop locations, mileage and
trip/stop durations. A color legend based on stop duration allows
fleet managers to quickly identify stops of over an hour in length.
The Stop Detail Report enables fleet managers to confirm customer
visits, reduce unauthorized use and increase the productivity of
your individual fleet vehicles.
Geofence Violation - With Networkfleet's Geofence Violation
Report, fleet managers can easily monitor vehicle movement into
and/or out of a user-defined circular geographic area. This report
provides a history that details when a vehicle entered or exited a
geofence and the duration of time spent within the specified area.
Landmark Report (By Landmark) - With Networkfleet's Landmark
Report (By Landmark), fleet managers can easily monitor vehicle
visits to specified landmarks. This report provides a history that
details which vehicles serviced or visited a particular landmark and
the duration of each visit.
Landmark Report (By Vehicle) - With Networkfleet's Landmark
Report (By Vehicle), fleet managers can easily monitor vehicle
visits to specified landmarks. This report provides a history that
details which landmarks a particular vehicle serviced or visited and
the duration of each visit. This report is often used to document
vehicles stops at various locations such as a residence, customer
site, branch location, or company headquarters. The duration of the
stop is color-coded for ease-of-use.
Coverage
Networkfleet operates on the Mobitex Wireless Network, the
largest wireless data network in the United States. Although
coverage can be an important concern in some locations,
Networkfleet's "store and forward" feature limits the impact of
coverage gaps. If a Networkfleet-equipped vehicle enters an area of
unreliable (or no) coverage, any unsent data is stored. All pending
data is then uploaded to the Networkfleet website as soon as the
vehicle travels back into the coverage footprint. “Store and
forward” capability guarantees the accuracy of your tracking data
even if contact is lost for brief periods.
Warranty
We guarantee that, for a period of one (1) year following delivery
to you, the equipment will not have defects in material and
workmanship and during the term, licensed matter will be able to
perform the data processing functions described.
Installation
Networkfleet’s “plug and play” capabilities make installation
simple and fast. Since there’s no wire splicing involved,
Networkfleet can be self-installed in less than 30 minutes.
